New parking solution provides city residents convenience when parking at local and major venues.

VISTA, California, November 12, 2008 – McCain Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of traffic, parking and transit management solutions, today announced the release of their new parking management solution. The announcement is made in advance of the 15th World Congress on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Conference & Exhibition in New York City, New York, where McCain Inc. will demonstrate the technology at booth #765.

McCain’s parking management system introduces a new and convenient way for city residents to easily park at any size venue. McCain’s parking system, comprised of smart hardware and software, will effortlessly guide patrons towards the closest available parking space whether it is at a residential condo parking garage, shopping center, sports arena, university, or airport. The smart parking system alerts drivers of an available parking space by using smart signs located strategically outside of the venue visible to oncoming patrons, smart signs located inside of the garage directing traffic to the nearest available space, as well as indicator lights above each parking space, illuminated in green for vacancy and red for no vacancy.
