Airports
Regional, National, or International AirportsAirport parking serves a multitude of purposes for various parties. Airport parking affects patrons’ experience, airport functionality, and revenue. An airport parking facility that functions properly can positively impact customers and the establishment as a whole. Airport parking structures are notorious for being crowded and difficult to navigate. Patrons desire easy, convenient options that help them reach travel destinations on-time. Negative parking incidents lead potential customers to seek out alternate means of transportation, including taxis and share-rides. Provide motorists with a truly positive parking experience by drastically reducing search times through accurate and up-to-the-minute space counts, results in on-time travel, increased customer satisfaction, and continued customer loyalty. Down from 15 minutes to 2.5, the McCain Parking Guidance System significantly reduces the time spent looking for parking. In a recent Case Study, the substantial reduction in the time spent looking for parking helped patrons of O.R. Tambo Airport make their flights on-time. Patrons that make flights, with time to spare are more likely to spend money at airport restaurants, stores, and kiosks, resulting in increased revenue for the airport as a whole. Even though airport parking generates the largest percentage of non-aeronautical revenue*, airport parking operations that don’t account for all available spaces through individual space detection and management, may be limiting their revenue potential. Installation of a parking guidance system will give parking operations control over each individual space, resulting in greater customer satisfaction and increased revenue. *Source: Airport Revenue News
