April 13, 2020 Update

Dear McCain Customers, Partners and Suppliers,

Effective Monday morning, April 13, 2020, McCain’s production facility in Tijuana will be closed temporarily. This voluntary closure ensures compliance with local government guidance, coincides with the recent closure of many of our suppliers, and prioritizes the health and safety of our personnel as the COVID-19 situation unfolds.

According to authorities, our target date to reopen the facility is May 4. This date may be subject to change as this dynamic health care situation evolves. We are working internally and with external advisors to develop plans to regain full production capacity as quickly as possible when circumstances allow.

The facility in Vista, California remains open for product testing and shipping. Some of the orders in our backlog will be shipping as scheduled, but the temporary closure of our Tijuana facility will have an impact on other previously scheduled deliveries. Our Sales team will do their best to keep you updated on potential delays on existing orders and lead times for new orders

Our technical support, project implementation and software teams will continue to operate without interruption.

We ask for your patience during this global health care event, and we welcome all communication between our organizations as we work together to get through this challenge.

The entire McCain team hopes you are all staying safe during this unprecedented period in our lives. We are confident that this global challenge will be overcome, and we look forward to working with you again under normal circumstances in the near future!

Sincerely,

Greg McKhann

Dear McCain Customers, Partners and Suppliers,

McCain continues to remain open for business at this time. We are closely following all US, Mexico and local government guidance regarding COVID-19. We have asked our staff to add the use of face masks to the hygiene practices noted in our March 23 communication (referenced below) and we have provided masks to all personnel. McCain has also added various preventative virus countermeasures beyond what government authorities are requiring, such as using outside professionals to periodically disinfect work areas.

As a result of recent regulatory guidance in Mexico, approximately 20% of our production personnel that are deemed high risk due to underlying health conditions are on paid leave at this time. We are evaluating the impact of a smaller workforce and various supply chain challenges on our production capacity. This evaluation is ongoing, but it is reasonable to assume that some planned deliveries may be impacted by these events. Our Sales team will do their best to keep you updated on potential delivery delays.

We hope you are all staying safe during this unprecedented period in our lives.

Thank you,

Greg McKhann

March 23, 2020

Dear McCain Customers, Partners and Suppliers:

On March 19, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a "stay at home" order, with the goal of slowing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Other states quickly announced similar orders, including New York and Illinois. Today numerous other states and cities enacted comparable programs. We want to stay in close communication with our valued customers, partners and suppliers as this dynamic national situation evolves.

The California executive order includes some exceptions for “critical infrastructure” providers, in categories which include Transportation Systems and Information Technology. We have determined that McCain participates in at least these 2 categories and possibly others.

McCain will continue to operate and remain open at the current time. We are following all guidance from the authorities regarding safety and hygiene for both our personnel and our partners, and our people are working from home wherever possible.

The COVID-19 situation is very dynamic. McCain is carefully monitoring the situation, and we will keep you posted if our ability to produce, test, ship and support our products changes as a result. We welcome any questions or comments you might have – please send any inquiries to marketing@mccain-inc.com or call (760)727-8100

Please stay healthy and safe in these challenging times.

Thank you,

Greg McKhann
