Marketing communications is all about providing valuable information to your audience. While it's ok to do a bit of cheerleading by communicating the sales wins, it is equally, if not more important, to address the immediate needs and interests of prospects and clients. The end goal is to position you and your company as subject matter experts. Publishing topics that address industry and client pain points is a great start. Additionally, informing and educating on timely issues and topics helps to solve client issues and learning gaps. An example of this was our last campaign on Cybersecurity. While it was a simple overview, it helps jumpstart the process of ensuring your clients are thinking about the issue and know to contact you as the expert.

We were recently in Canada with our partner, Innovative Traffic Solutions, for a few trade shows. The first was ITE in Winnipeg, followed by ITS in Windsor.
