McCain’s advanced transportation solutions are providing real-time traffic data, including Signal Phase and Timing (SPaT), and traffic signal preemption, to connect vehicles via a Roadside Unit (RSU) equipped with the Qualcomm® 9150 C-V2X solution from Qualcomm Technologies’ during CES, located in the North Hall, booth #5616, and at the main Qualcomm booth, Central Hall #10948.

The San Diego autonomous vehicle proving grounds were designated as one of ten proving grounds in the U.S. by the U.S. Department of Transportation. One objective of the trials is to demonstrate the potential of C-V2X technologies, and their ability to improve automotive safety, support a path towards automated driving, and to drive improved traffic efficiency.
