McCain to showcase connected vehicle-ready solutions at CES this week as part of a live Cellular-V2X (C-V2X) demonstration with Qualcomm Technologies. The demo, which will feature McCain's Backpack Cabinet, running Omni eX® Intersection Control Software on a FLeX® Controller, will highlight how essential data exchange between vehicles and traffic infrastructure can improve safety, optimize traffic flow, and pave the path to automated driving.
McCain to Support San Diego Cellular-V2X Connected Car Technology Trials
McCain is proud to support the first Cellular-V2X (C-V2X) trials in the U.S. Launched by AT&T, Ford, Nokia, and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., and in coordination with the City of Chula Vista and the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), the testing is expected to take place at the automated vehicle proving grounds in San Diego.
