McCain’s Latest Cabinet Technology Solves Key Problem for GDOT
The landmark project in Covington, Georgia leverages the company’s first deployment of a low-voltage 350i ATC Cabinet. The advanced cabinet architecture and expansive capabilities helped the Georgia Department of Transportation improve operations at a troublesome dual-intersection location.

Following the SWARCO acquisition of McCain, SWARCO Traffic Americas products will now be sold under the McCain brand. This means that products like SWARCO’s world-renowned, full-color overhead and arterial variable message signs will be added to McCain’s diverse portfolio of cabinets, controllers, and software.
As of September 23, 2016, the McCain Backpack Cabinet Giveaway is officially closed. We received a tremendous response with entries across 30 states and 5 Canadian Provinces. Plus, a big shout out to California, the state with the most entries. The winning agency will receive a free deployment of McCain’s newest ATC Cabinet, the Backpack Cabinet, as well as a complete GRIDSMART system including a camera and GS2 Processor.
