McCain Inc. and Phoenix Pacific Inc. Selected to Transform Maui’s Traffic Management Systems
The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) – Maui District to deploy McCain advanced traffic management systems, allowing traffic managers to view, study, and modify traffic patterns and signal timing to reduce congestion. Longtime McCain partner, Phoenix Pacific, won the contract and will install the equipment over the next 90 days.
The USDOT's ITS Benefits, Costs, Lessons Learned Update is here and not surprisingly Connected Vehicles tops the list of new topics covered. Join us as we see how these CV technologies are tackling some of the biggest challenges facing the industry today.
When McCain was founded just over 30 years ago, Intelligent Transportation was barely an idea.
But that was 1988 and the intervening
decades have brought almost unimaginable
change and opportunity. McCain has become an established
leader in traffic management and company leaders
have embraced the future of transportation
and the coming infrastructure tsunami
needed to support connected and
autonomous vehicle deployment.
McCain, SWARCO, and our partners at Eberle Design Inc encourage traffic signal industry professionals to participate in an open forum to explore the possibility of ATSSA adding a traffic signal contractor and manufacturers industry division.
